Promoted to Football Club Photographer
We’re delighted to share the exciting news that Sam, a Regent College learner, has been appointed the official football photographer at his two local football clubs – Newcastle Town FC and Stone Alleynians FC.
After finding a passion for photography at Regent College, we supported Sam in gaining experience in a professional setting.
Sam has volunteered on match days at his two local non-league teams for the past couple of years.
As well as enhancing his photography skills, Sam has become a lot more confident, forming great relationships with the football players, who give him the nickname ‘Samo’.
Here is a lovely message from one of the players:
“I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to someone truly special, Samo. Today, we celebrate not just incredible talent, but the dedication, vision, and creativity that Samo brings to every shot.
“Samo, you have an extraordinary ability to capture the essence of a moment, transforming simple scenes into timeless pieces of art. Your work goes beyond just photography—it tells stories, evokes emotions, and immortalizes memories in ways that few can.
“You have an exceptional eye for detail, and your passion shines through in every frame you capture. Whether it’s a spontaneous candid or a meticulously planned shot, you manage to make each image feel personal and unique. The way you bring light, color, and emotion together is nothing short of magic.”

“As a tutor at Regent College, a former coach at Newcastle Town, and current first-team coach at Stone Alleynians FC, I find it extremely rewarding to witness Sam develop into the confident and talented young man that he is today.”
