Celebrating Learners’ Achievements

Recognising all the incredible achievements of learners during the academic year

Regent College’s annual Celebration Day recognises all the incredible achievements of learners during the academic year.

At the end of the summer term every July, Regent College learners and their tutors gather with friends and family to celebrate the achievements of the year. It’s also an occasion to say a fond farewell to some of our learners who have completed their studies.

Our 2024 Celebration Day was hosted by Port Vale Football Club and attended by dignitaries, valued partners, teaching and support colleagues, and of course, our learners and their families.

“The annual Regent College Celebration Day is a great way to come together and reflect on everything we have achieved together. Congratulations to everyone for another brilliant year of learning.”

Awards Ceremony

Learners were commended for the qualifications, accreditations, and certifications they had achieved throughout the academic year, as well as for their work experience and volunteering.

Tutors also shared stories about learners’ outstanding achievements and celebrated their WOW moments! Many of the learners’ WOW moments are those of personal progression and development.

For some of our 4th and 5th year learners who have completed their studies, Celebration Day was a final and emotional celebration as they transition to the next chapter of their lives in the adult world.

We also celebrated the achievements of our colleagues, as well as extended our farewells and best wishes to those retiring .

British Values Awards

The British Values Awards recognise learners who have demonstrated fundamental British values.

Learners are nominated by peers in their tutor group for things like displaying positive behaviour, helping others, and showing respect. Each tutor group has a British Values Award winner, with an overall College winner.

Congratulation to our overall 2024 winner, Kai, who was awarded for embracing college life, making friends, helping others, greeting people, and respecting others.
